It’s a snowy Sunday and the middle of day 3 on MC.
I threw up half of the salt water flush this morning; it just didn’t settle well in my tummy. I don’t feel super energetic today either but am planning to go for a long walk in the fresh white snow to breath a little chilly air and get my body moving. Fattie may opt to move to a fruit & veggie fast for the remaining time – he promised to be discreet cooking and eating so it won’t be tempting for me.
I’m keeping my head up and thinking positive thoughts. I’m dedicated to the MC for 10 days and looking forward to the benefits.
If you’re on this fast or been through it, let me know! Any encourage is helpful!

Hi There!
DON’T GIVE UP! Day 3 is one of the hardest…. I am starting in a couple of days, and have been having green smoothies as a way to prepare myself. Because of caffeine withdrawals, I have been struggling with the blues…
I HATE the saltwater flush, and pretty much avoid it if at all possible. And, only on my days off : )… I haven’t even seen it release bowels so much as I have seen it cause it to come out in the form of liquid out of my hiney. Not good…
Keep it up!!!
Lauri
THANKS!!
I was struggling a little this morning but this evening has been much much better. No caffeine headache today which has been SO wonderful! I was quite worried about withdrawals going in since I’m pretty addicted to my morning coffee.
I’m feeling more encouraged tonight. Thanks for the comment! Best wishes to you…..I’ll check in with you in a few days.

Today is Day 1 for me and it is extremely hard. I take much joy in eating and its going to be a long 10 days for me. I’m glad I’m not alone… Hang in there!
pharmgirl, be brave and struggle through it. I too love cooking and enjoy the rituals of eating SO much. They say the first 3 days are the hardest – which was definitely true for me. Day 1 was ok – but day 2 & 3 were a bit harder. Glad they are over; I do feel like I made it over a big mountain. Today has been much better and I”m holding positive thoughts for a easy continuation. Let me know how you’re doing; having a buddy always helps!
